Mengatasi Pesan "NTLDR is missing" di Windows XP

NTLDR atau Windows boot loader adalah salah satu file yang sangat penting pada Windows XP. Jika file tersebut hilang atau terhapus, Windows XP akan gagal untuk booting. Windows akan menampilkan pesan "NTLDR is missing" atau NTLDR not found".



Untuk mengatasi hal ini, anda membutuhkan CD instalasi Windows XP dan akses sebagai administrator di komputer tersebut. Untuk lebih jelasnya, ikuti petunjuk berikut:

1. Masuk ke BIOS, dan atur Boot option untuk melakukan boot dari CD anda. Setelah itu Save dan Exit BIOS

2. Masukkan CD instalasi Windows XP

3. Restart komputer

4. Tekan tombol apa saja untuk booting dari CD instalasi Windows XP

5. Tekan tombol "R" untuk masuk ke Recovery Consol dari tampilan "Welcome to setup" Windows XP.

6. Tunggu sejenak (jangan langsung tekan Enter) kecuali anda ingin reboot. Bila ada pertanyaan sistem mana yang ingin diperbaiki, maka Tekan "1" dan kemudian tekan Enter.

7. Masukkan password administrator (jika tersedia) atau biarkan kosong jika memang tidak ada password, kemudian tekan Enter

8. Ketikkan "fixboot" dan tekan Enter

Catatan: Anda juga dapat mengetikkan kode di bawah:

copy e:\i386\ntldr c:\

maka file NTLDR akan di copy dari CD installer anda. Sebelumnya pastikan dulu dimana letak drice CD instalasi anda, disini saya contohkan adalah e.
